We’ve all been there: there’s this amazing study abroad program or internship opportunity abroad, and you’re just dying to hop a plane and embark on a new adventure. Suddenly, the program’s nifty little price tag stops you in your tracks.

Thousands of students, in the U.S and abroad, encounter this program every semester, where they feel like their financial limitations translate directly into what educational opportunities they can have.

However, fear not, because here at InteRDom, we have gathered a list of databases where you can find Study Abroad Scholarships offered in the United States:

  1. College Board
This is a database where you can find scholarships, and other financial aid and internships for more than 2,200 programs, totaling nearly $6 billion.
  1. Diversity Abroad
If you’re a minority, low-income, or first generation student, then this is the database for you. This database targets those precise groups, and allows you to search for study abroad scholarships and global fellowships by keyword, subject, or country.
  1. Fast Web
This resource packs a punch. It allows you to look for scholarships based on your strengths, interests and skills, has resources to help you with financial aid decisions, provides college search help, and posts nearly 10,000 part-time jobs available in top industries.
  1. iie Generation Study Abroad
Last, but not least, these are grants for U.S. students from diverse backgrounds, to help them participate in academic, internship or service-learning experiences abroad. They can be used for both travel to and from countries of study, but also within the region, which permits students to make the most of their international experience.

Remember, if one door closes, look for an open window. There will always be a way for you to reach your dreams – you just have to know where to look.
