AAPLAC Conference Concludes With Dinner and Excursion

After 4 days of intensive working sessions, riveting speakers, cultural workshops and excursions and a lot of networking and exchange of ideas, the 26th Annual Conference of the Association of Academic Programs in Latin America and the Caribbean (AAPLAC) drew to a close on Saturday, February 21st with a final cultural excursion to the historic ruins of Boca de Nigua sugar plantation in the southwestern part of the Dominican Republic. InteRDom Returns with New Ideas and Connections from 2014 CIEE Annual Conference in Baltimore

The 2014 CIEE Annual Conference provided a great space for learning and networking as InteRDom representatives joined more than 500 international education professionals for the second consecutive year, discussing ideas and attending panels surrounding the conference’s theme, “Breaking Barriers: Cost. Curriculum. Culture,” held in Baltimore, Maryland, from November 21-22, 2014. InteRDom representatives attended presentations on many topics, from technological barriers, to local synergies in cinema, politics, and study abroad and increasing study abroad access for all.
