InteRDom representatives have been working hard to bring the program to potential interns in time to apply by the April 15 application deadline, for what promises to be an exciting summer and fall. In light of the upcoming deadline, InteRDom participated in the Manhattanville College Spring Job and Internship Fair on March 25, 2016 in Purchase, New York. The fair boasted the participation of more than 60 organizations, including: Latino U College Access, Inc., Westcoast Connection/360 Student Travel, LTG Marketing & Development, DAC Group, Los Niños Services, New York State Department of Civil Service, and Zedalza Studios, among others. For the first time, InteRDom will be participating in the Spring Job and Internship Fair at Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York from 12:30 – 3:00 pm on Friday, March 25, 2016. InteRDom representatives were pleased to connect with many students at the 17th Annual Rutgers-Newark Internship & Summer Jobs Fair at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey on January 27, 2016. As a continuation of their outreach to tri state-area universities, InteRDom is excited to be participating for the first time ever in the 17th Annual Rutgers-Newark Internship & Summer Jobs Fair at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey on January 27, 2016 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. The fair is hosted by Rutgers-Newark Career Development Center and is located at the Paul Robeson Campus Center. InteRDom Offers URI Students a 360° Experience in Dominican Republic

In the words of Jody Lisbergerer, Associate Professor, Gender and Women’s Studies of the University of Rhode Island (URI), the InteRDom winter program, which concluded this past Friday, was “a superb trip” characterized by the “hard work and marvelous stewardship of the organizers”. This year’s participants in the InteRDom winter program were 8 political sciences students from URI, who started their journey on January 4th 2016. InteRDom to Participate in 8th Annual Baruch College Work Abroad Fair

For the fourth year in a row, InteRDom representatives will be participating in the eighth annual Work Abroad Fair at Baruch College in New York City on October 13, 2015. The fair is hosted by the Baruch College Weissman Center for International Business, and is located at the Information and Technology Building on the 7th Floor. The InteRDom program has a long relationship with Baruch College, both in hosting interns at their New York headquarters and placing students in internships in the Dominican Republic. InteRDom Promotes Programs in the Dominican Republic through Film Screening at Drexel University

InteRDom representatives returned to Drexel University for the second spring in a row to present a special screening of the film La Montaña (The Mountain) on Thursday, April 16. This event was organized in collaboration with the Drexel University Spanish Club to promote internship opportunities available through InteRDom, and to encourage students to apply for InteRDom’s 2015 summer and fall programs. The event attracted Drexel students interested in Latino culture and Spanish language, as well as individuals interested in seeing the film. InteRDom, in collaboration with the Drexel University Spanish Club, would like to invite Drexel students, professors and community members to the screening of the Dominican film La Montaña (The Mountain), directed by Tabaré Blanchard and co-directed by Ivan Herrera, on Thursday, April 16 at 7:00 p.m. at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
