InteRDom will participate in the Summer Opportunities and Career Fair organized by the Harvard National Model United Nations Conference at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts on Friday, February 13, 2009. The conference, run by Harvard students and attended by more than 3,000 college students and faculty from around the world, is in its fifty-fifth session and is known for attracting an internationally conscious student population.
For university students desiring to pursue careers in the area of international development, InteRDom can serve as a port of entry into this intriguing and challenging field. Through participating in the fair, InteRDom seeks to inform students interested in realizing projects related to the work conducted by the United Nations in the Dominican Republic and issues concerning development, immigration and gender equity the internships opportunities available with InteRDom during the 2009 Summer and Fall Semesters.
Students interested in applying to the Program will be able to drop-off resumes and fill-out application forms and discuss research projects ideas with program representatives.

InteRDom, an initiative of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), offers students the opportunity to gain professional experience by interning with Dominican organizations and businesses related to their field of study.
The Program fosters and promotes the professional, academic, scientific, technological and cultural exchange of students and professionals in public, private and non-profit organizations of the Dominican Republic. It significantly contributes to the development of the nation’s employment sector and the advancement of academic research, while providing spaces for personal and professional growth, internationalization and multicultural understanding.
