InteRDom continues to strengthen its relationship with New York University by participating for the second consecutive year in their Public Health Career Fair in New York City, which will take place this year on Friday, November 8 from 3:00 – 6:00 pm.

Name: New York University’s 2013 Public Health Career Fair

Date: Friday, November 8, 2013

Time: 3:00 pm–6:00 pm

Location: NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development, 140 East 14th Street, 2nd Floor, New York, NY

The fair is hosted by the NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development, which services students in all NYU graduate and undergraduate degree programs, and in collaboration with the NYU Global Institute of Public Health and NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.

At the fair, InteRDom representatives are excited to meet students interested in opportunities in the Dominican Republic in the field of public health, including graduate students interested in doing research as part of the Fellows Program, which provides opportunities for M.S., M.A. and Ph.D. candidates and professors interested in conducting high-level research in the Dominican Republic on issues related to sustainable development.

InteRDom, an initiative of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), is the premier internship, research and academic study program in the Dominican Republic. It offers international students the opportunity to research important topics at the forefront of the United Nations agenda, obtain professional experience by interning with Dominican organizations and businesses related to their fields of study and/or earn academic credits by taking courses and seminars at a local university.
