For the third consecutive year, InteRDom participated in the seventh annual Baruch College Work Abroad Fair on October 7th, 2014,where representatives met with students from all backgrounds and academic interests looking to gain experience abroad.

The fair attracted the participation of more than 75 students hailing from Baruch’s three schools: the Zicklin School of Business, Weissman School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Public Affairs. Organizations also represented at the fair included: AIESEC Baruch, Academic Programs International (API), French-American Chamber of Commerce, CIS Abroad, Cultural Vistas, The Jet Program, New Power, Arcadia University Study Abroad, and Leave UR Mark. The Zicklin School was particularly well represented at the fair, as representatives spoke to many students interested in business, finance and political science opportunities.

InteRDom, an initiative of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), is the premier internship, research and academic study program in the Dominican Republic. It offers international students the opportunity to research important topics at the forefront of the United Nations agenda, obtain professional experience by interning with Dominican organizations and businesses related to their fields of study and/or earn academic credits by taking courses and seminars at a local university.
