InteRDom Internships in the Dominican Republic is excited to announce two new internships for students interested in small-scale grassroots development projects, in partnership with the non-profit organization Una Nueva Vida, founded in 2012 by InteRDom Alumnus, Jaynice del Rosario.

Una Nueva Vida’s vision is to create a world where every child can compete with equal capacity in the new global economy using the technological advances available in the world. Their mission is to provide the technology, the knowledge and a format to achieve the vision. They accomplish the aforementioned by organizing an exchange of solar panel systems for High School scholarships, summer technology institutes, and university scholarships. The internships are in the areas of fundraising and digital marketing, but interns will be involved directly in the projects and with the community members.

Descriptions for these new internships can be found below:

InteRDom, an initiative of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), is the premier internship, research and academic study program in the Dominican Republic. It offers international students the opportunity to research important topics at the forefront of the United Nations agenda, obtain professional experience by interning with Dominican organizations and businesses related to their fields of study and/or earn academic credits by taking courses and seminars at a local university.
