Columbia University Hosts
InteRDom Information Session New York, January 29, 2009
The next stop in New York for the
internship program InteRDom, an
initiative of Global Foundation for
Democracy and Development (GFDD)
and Fundación Global Democracia y
Desarrollo (FUNGLODE),
will be at Columbia University.
InteRDom will hold an information
session together with Columbia’s
Center for Career Education on
February 17, 2009 at 6 p.m. for all
students interested in participating
in the summer and fall semester
programs.
The Center for Career Education at
Columbia services the students
belonging to Columbia College, the
Fu Foundation School of Engineering
and Applied Sciences, School of
General Studies, School of
Continuing Education, The Graduate
School of Arts and Sciences, The
School of Arts and the Graduate
School of Architecture, Planning and
Preservation. InteRDom, in turn, can
offer students internships in almost
every study area of arts and
sciences, general studies and
engineering, as well as many others.
This is the first time that InteRDom
and the Center for Career Services
have partnered for an event at
Columbia University, and InteRDom is
very excited to meet the students
that they service.
The information session will be an
opportunity for Columbia students to
meet the InteRDom team, to see a
brief presentation and video about
the program, and to collect
information and ask questions about
the internship offering for 2009.
Interested students can drop off
their resumes and fill out
application forms for the program at
the information session, as well as
discuss their research projects with
team members.

The Program fosters and promotes
the professional, academic,
scientific, technological and
cultural exchange of students and
professionals in public, private and
non-profit organizations of the
Dominican Republic. It significantly

personal and professional growth,
internationalization and
multicultural understanding.
