InteRDom Will Participate in Summer
Opportunities Fair at Harvard

The internship program, InteRDom,
an initiative of Global Foundation
for Democracy and Development (GFDD)
and Fundación Global Democracia y
Desarrollo (FUNGLODE),
will participate in the “Summer
Opportunities Fair” at Harvard
University on December 12, 2008.
InteRDom will have a stand at the
fair where students will be able to
familiarize themselves with the
internship opportunities available,
and to learn about the Dominican
organizations affiliated with the
program. The InteRDom team will also
be present to answer any student
questions.
At this time, Harvard Students
will get a first look at InteRDom’s
new internships in the fields of
journalism, human resources,
agriculture and business.
In addition, InteRDom team
members will be arriving at Harvard
a day in advance, on Thursday,
December 11, and will be available
for appointments with interested
students and faculty that afternoon.
During the event, InteRDom will
receive resumes and proposals for
the May-August 2009 Semester from
students interested in developing
projects or theses related to the
areas in which InteRDom offers
internship opportunities.
InteRDom offers students the
opportunity to gain professional
experience by interning with
Dominican organizations and
businesses related to their field of
study. The program significantly
contributes to the development of
the nation’s employment sector and
the advancement of academic
research.
