2008
On Wednesday,
October 22, InteRDom participated in
Dowling College’s annual Part-Time
Job and Internship Fair at Dowling’s
Rudolph Campus in Oakdale, New York.
At the fair, students had the
opportunity to talk with InteRDom
representatives about the program
and learn of the internship
opportunities available to them both
in semester and summer programs.
They also received brochures and
application information, and turned
in their resumes to be considered
for admission to the program.
In addition to meeting
with interested students, InteRDom
representatives also established
contact with other organizations at
the Fair, who were interested in
getting to know InteRDom students
and considering them for internship
opportunities. More than 55
organizations participated in the
Part-Time Job and Internship Fair,
including Target, AFLAC, News
Channel 12, Barnes & Noble,
Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Circuit City

cultural exchange of students and
professionals in public, private and
non-profit organizations of the
Dominican Republic. It significantly
contributes to the development of
the nation’s employment sector and
the advancement of academic
research, while providing spaces for
personal and professional growth,
internationalization and
multicultural understanding.
