InteRDom Welcomes Fellow Latonja Taylor Santo Domingo, August 22, 2010
InteRDom
is pleased to present the newest member of its Fellows
Program, Latonja Taylor. Ms. Taylor will be arriving to
the Dominican Republic in September of this year to
conduct research related to the integration of mobile
technology within teaching and learning processes. The
innovative pilot program which will be led by Ms. Taylor
will involve the collaboration of various public and
private entities.
Ms. Taylor will be bringing with her to the Dominican
Republic extensive experience in both the fields of
technology and education. She is currently realizing
graduate-level studies in the area of International
Educational Development at Columbia University’s
Teachers College and holds a Bachelors of Science in
Computer Engineering from Colorado Technical University,
in addition to professional certificates in Professional
Development and Engineering Management from the
University of Colorado at Boulder. Ms. Taylor has over ten years
experience working for public and private institutions
as a Computer Engineer and Technical Consultant.
Additionally, Ms. Taylor has worked as an English as a
Second Language instructor in Italy and South Korea and
has served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kingston,
Jamaica, during which her responsibilities including
curriculum development and teacher training in Microsoft
Office applications, computer care and Internet usage.

course of her project implementation and related
