Fellows Program Opportunities Now Available for Fall 2010
New York, March 4, 2010

InteRDom’s Fellows Program is now looking for M.A. and Ph.D. students to carry-out fellowships in the Dominican Republic during fall 2010. Fellowship opportunities are currently available in the areas of:

  • Public Health and Development
  • Waste Management (Solid and Hazardous)
  • Sustainable Production and Consumption
  • Mining
  • Chemicals
  •  Financing for Development.

The final output of the semester-long period will be a report of approximately 15 pages. Reports that meet GFDD and FUNGLODE standards and guidelines will be submitted to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and will be featured on GFDD and FUNGLODE websites and within institutional publications.

Fellows that carry-out exemplary work will also be afforded the opportunity to present their findings before the United Nations community on behalf of GFDD and FUNGLODE.

The deadline to receive applications for the fall is: July 1, 2010.
