InteRDom offers a wide variety of internships for undergraduate, graduate, and gap-year students. The program coordinates a customized internship experience ranging from 10 – 48 weeks in duration, according to each student's study area and career interests. InteRDom works with more than 350 organizations in public, private and non-profit sectors to match students with an organization to foster a mutually beneficial relationship.

Since the early 1980s, tourism has become the largest and fastest growing industry in the Dominican Republic, and the island nation attracts more than three million visitors a year. InteRDom provides internship opportunities for students with prominent tourism chains, as well as small boutique hotels in the following areas: hotel management, marketing, regulation, culinary arts, quality control, recreational activities, event and travel coordination and transportation and logistics. These internships generally take place in the tourist areas of Punta Cana, Samaná, Juan Dolio and Santo Domingo.
