Internships are a form of professional development that can enhance the quality of future and current employees. They are also a key aspect of strategic development for companies or organizations in the marketplace.
InteRDom, the premier internship and academic study program in the Dominican Republic, provides consultation services to organizations seeking to implement and improve internship programs and supports training initiatives to foster development and increased market competitiveness.
With the purpose of better achieving these goals, InteRDom has launched a new training program, which will be held three times a year, to prepare the administrators and employees of our affiliate organizations – both public and private -- in the implementation of successful internship programs within their companies and institutions.
The seminar will also include opportunities to discuss opportunities for exchange between students from the Dominican Republic and abroad.
Learning-by-Doing
A well-structured internship program enriches the organization’s internal work culture and helps project its image to local and international universities.
Through this seminar, InteRDom aims to promote internships as a key means of improving employee skills by helping organizations better evaluate human resource management and maximize employee productivity.
The seminar, which will address the advantages of internship programs in reducing training costs, will also provide orientation on building apprenticeship plans, ways to integrate other member organizations into internship programs, and how to achieve real gains in terms of productivity.
