Announcing new internships!

InteRDom is pleased to launch a number of new internships in partner organizations in a variety of areas to which interested students may apply. Positions are available in private, public and nonprofit organizations representing the following industries: medicine and health, law, event planning, business, hospitality and tourism, finance, audiovisuals and cinema. You can read descriptions of these new internships here and apply by filling out the application form here.

There are currently over a dozen students participating in InteRDom Summer Programs in the Dominican Republic! Students in the Graduate and Gap Year, Caribbean Summer, and CCNY-InteRDom Service Learning programs are fully immersed in their agendas of cultural and services activities, summer courses and internships. You can read about all of the exciting programs taking place this summer in the special Summer Programs section on our website.

InteRDom is currently organizing its Fall agenda of university visits! We would like to meet as many students on as many campuses as possible through fairs, information sessions or creative events on Latino/Dominican culture.

If you have an event where InteRDom should be represented, let us know by sending an email to: info@interdominternships.org

Correspondent Program
Correspondent ProgramThis summer also marks the debut of a new program aiming at providing students opportunities to boost their resumes in the areas of writing, marketing and communications: the Correspondent Program. Students who apply and are selected for the program become official program bloggers during their in-country experience and serve as on-campus ambassadors upon their return.

They are coached in writing and grammar during the blogging phase, as well as marketing, database management and public relations techniques during the second phase of the program.

Check out the first blogs from the Correspondents, and check back frequently for updates on their experience!
